Meet other local individuals who are interested in discussing and studying the tenets of Taoism.
It's a combination of socializing and text study, with optional occasional meditative rituals and demonstrations thrown in on special occasions.
For example, the winter solstice ritual involved pouring a dipper of water over a rock in a bucket as slowly as possible one at a time.
The texts can include the I Ching, the Tao Te Ching, Chuang Tzu, The Art of War (Sun Tzu), works of Deng Ming-Dao (365 Tao, Everyday Tao, Scholar Warrior), Wen-Tzu, the Hua Hu Ching, Lieh-Tzu, the Ling Ch'i Ching, and more.
Right now we just meet on Saturday afternoons, but if demand is sufficient, we may add a Monday or Tuesday evening meeting at some point.
